This unique town is located on the Tiburon Peninsula at the base of Ring Mountain. It is tucked between the Richardson Bay and the Town of Tiburon and consists of two islands named Belvedere Island and Corinthian Island, separated by the Belvedere Lagoon.
The area harbors historical archaeological resources of untouched Native American petroglyphs and spectacular biodiversity of California flora and fauna.
Initially, a fishing-based city, Belvedere has developed into a sailing community where the San Francisco Yacht Club is situated. The neighboring Town of Tiburon is home to a wide range of services, shops, and eateries.
